About Craft -This exclusive set of Dashavtar Ganjifa consists of 120 cards , each card carefully hand crafted and hand painted by the Chitrakaars (skilled artists) of Orissa. Each card has been made through an intricate and long process using old cotton saris , and then painted delicately using squirrel hair brushes and crushed stone colours. In typical Ganjifa tradition, the pip cards are not numbered. The player instead depends on his quick counting skills.
Ganjifa cards lend themselves beautifully to variations of modern games such as poker and Teen Patti, its three-card version popular in India. Potli is a member of FAIR TRADE FORUM-India.
