Pagade also known as the national board game of India is identified by different names in different regions of India viz. Pagade (Kannada), Chaupar (Hindi), Chausar (Hindi), Chopat (Hindi), Pachisi (Hindi), Sokkattan (Tamil), Dayakattam (Tamil), Pagdi Pat (Marathi) and many more. The Parcheesi game & ludo subsequently was designed in 1918 by the Parker Brothers (USA, now HASBRO ) inspired by Pagade.

16 pawns (4 sets, each set contains 4 of a color) which are organic lac-colored mainly in Yellow ( Turmeric), Black (Charcoal),Red(Vermilion), Brown( Turmeric, Vermilion and charcoal) , Orange ( Turmeric, Vermilion) and Green( Leaf extract).
Two wooden long Dice or paasa/daala are made by the Saharanpur wood crafting artisans.
